OrangeAccess (OA) is Syracuse University’s system for requesting, approving, and reviewing access to applications and data. It replaces the legacy FAST application and provides a modern, secure way to manage access.
Staff and Faculty – Request access for themselves or others.
Managers – Approve or request access for their team members.
Application/Data Owners – Approve access for the systems they are responsible for.
Open a browser and go to orangeaccess.syr.edu.
Log in with your NetID and password.
After login, you’ll see the OrangeAccess Home Page.

Request Center – Submit access requests for yourself, your team, or others.
Pending Requests – Track the status of requests you have submitted.
Access Requests to Review – Approve or deny requests assigned to you.
My Access – Review or remove your current access.
My Team – Review or remove access for your direct reports.
Preferences – Manage options like work reassignment.

✅ Tip: OrangeAccess is replacing FAST. Beginning October 28, 2025, all requests for MySlice, Campus Solutions, HR/Payroll, and Financials must be submitted through OA.
