How to Add or Delete Work Reassignment
Work reassignment allows you to temporarily delegate your OrangeAccess approval responsibilities to another person. This ensures requests continue to be reviewed without delay when you are unavailable (for example, during vacation, leave, or other extended absence).
When to Use Work Reassignment
You know you will be out of the office and unable to review requests.
You want to delegate approvals to another manager or colleague during a specific period.
Your role is changing and you need to transition approval responsibilities to someone else.

2. Add Work Reassignment
On the home page, select your name in the top-left corner.
Select Preferences.
In the left menu, select Work Reassignment.
Choose the work type you want to delegate. Most common is Access Request.
Select the start date and time and the end date and time, or check No End Date if the reassignment should stay active indefinitely.
Select the person you want to delegate to.
Select Add Reassignment to save your changes.

3. What Happens When You Create a Reassignment
All requests assigned to you during the reassignment period will route directly to the delegate.
The delegate will see and act on requests in their Access Requests to Review tile.
You will receive email confirmation when the reassignment is set.
After the end date, requests will automatically return to you.

4. Delete Work Reassignment
Navigate to the Work Reassignment page under Preferences.
At the bottom of the page, will list of your active reassignments.
Locate the reassignment you want to end.
Select Delete next to it to end the work reassignment

What Happens When You Delete a Reassignment
The reassignment ends immediately.
Any new requests assigned to you will now route back to your Access Requests to Review tile.
Requests already acted on by the delegate remain in the system as part of the request history.
Important Notes
You remain ultimately responsible for the requests; delegation is intended to prevent delays.
Choose a delegate who is familiar with the access requests for your area.
Work reassignment should be set up before your planned absence whenever possible.
