ITS Services and Applications
Information Technology and Services (ITS) provides a variety of services for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and more. Below you will find a list of key ITS provided applications and services, their login location, and a link to their support documentation.

IT Accessibility | Technology accessibility at Syracuse University means ensuring that all technology is usable by the greatest number of students, faculty, and staff possible. | ||
Kaltura | A leading video platform powering any video experience for any organization. | ||
Listserv | Listserv provides mailing lists for groups of users. | ||
LinkedIn Learning | An online library of high-quality video tutorials, created by industry professionals teaching a wide variety of software tools and skills. | ||
MySlice | Syracuse University's online portal to critical information resources for applicants, students, faculty, and staff. | ||
NetID and Password Management | Access to the University's computing network and online services are controlled through the NetID user name and a password. | ||
Microsoft 365 | Active students, faculty, and staff can download and install Microsoft Office and other desktop applications. | ||
Orange Tracker | Orange Tracker (OT) is based from Atlassian's Jira, an issue management platform that allows teams, or departments to manage their tasks. | ||
PlayPosit | A tool for adding rich content and dynamic interactions to video. | ||
Printing | Active users are provided credit each academic year to print in ITS public computer labs. | ||
Remote Desktop Services (RDS) | Remote Desktop Services (RDS) is a virtual desktop environment for students, faculty, and staff to remotely access a university desktops from any personal computer. | ||
Support Services | ITS provides a variety of support options for students, faculty, and staff. | ||
Zoom | Engage, educate, and collaborate with HD-quality video and audio. |

Remote Support | Remote Support is a remote desktop support environment by BeyondTrust used by IT support groups across campus. | ||
Digital Signage | The campus allows digital content to be added to the screensavers, labs, etc. throughout campus. | ||
Expressions | Expressions is a service that allows Faculty to build academically required web sites using WordPress. | ||
GET Mobile App | GET is a place where students (and parents/guardians) can manage the FOOD and/or PLUS(not food) funds, find places to eat and more. | ||
Qualtrics | A unique cloud based research/survey tool licensed for all current SU faculty, Students and Staff. | ||
Orange Safe App | Orange Safe is a free app designed to keep you safe. | ||
SU Today | SU Today allows subscribing to regular email delivery of the latest from Syracuse University News. |
Getting Help and Support
If you need technical assistance, ITS support is available anytime at help@syr.edu or 315-443-2677 during our phone support hours. The ITS Service Center offers IT related support services for students on-campus. Further information regarding hours and location can be found on the ITS Service Center page.
Faculty and staff should contact their academic or administrative support personnel for issues related to their University issued or campus managed devices.The ITS Service Center does not have support personnel from your academic or administrative department.
