How to Submit Request for Myself
OrangeAccess makes it easy to request access to University systems and applications. Follow the steps below to submit a request for yourself.

1. Log in to OrangeAccess
Open a browser and go to orangeaccess.syr.edu.
Log in with your NetID and password.
After login, you’ll see the OrangeAccess Home Page with tiles.

2. Submit a Request
From the home page, click Request Center.
Select Request for Myself.

Browse or search for the access you need.
In the search box, type a keyword (e.g.,
EST
).Example: Select PeopleSoft EST Administrators.
Add a comment if needed (e.g., “Filling in for Jeff”).
Note: Not all requests require a comment.
(Optional) Set an expiration date.
(Optional) Add additional access items.
At the top right, click Review Requests.

Review your selections and make any edits.
Click Submit Request.
3. Review Your Submitted Request
Return to the Home Page.
Click the Pending Requests tile.

Find your request and click Details.
Here you can track the current status.

You’ll also receive an email confirming your request.

4. Monitor Progress
Revisit the Pending Requests tile at any time to check on your request.
The request will show its updated status (Approved, Denied, or In Progress).

✅ Tip: You can always see your full request history under the Pending Requests tile, even after requests are complete.
