Getting Started with OrangeAccess

OrangeAccess (OA) is Syracuse Universityβs system for requesting, approving, and reviewing access to applications and data. It replaces the legacy FAST application and provides a modern, secure way to manage access.
Who Uses OrangeAccess?
Staff and Faculty β Request access for themselves or others.
Managers β Approve or request access for their team members.
Application/Data Owners β Approve access for the systems they are responsible for.
Logging In
Open a browser and go to orangeaccess.syr.edu.
Log in with your NetID and password.
After login, youβll be brought to the OrangeAccess Home Page.

Key Features on the Home Page
Request Center β Submit access requests for yourself, your team, or others.
Pending Requests β Track the status of requests you have submitted.
Access Requests to Review β Approve or deny requests assigned to you.
My Access β Review or remove your current access.
My Team β Review or remove access for your direct reports.
Preferences β Manage options like work reassignment.

β Tip: OrangeAccess is replacing FAST. Beginning December 3, 2025, all requests for MySlice, Campus Solutions, HR/Payroll, and Financials must be submitted through OA.
