      Digital Scholar Space Lab for VR/AR & AI Image Generation

      The DSS Lab is located on the 4th floor of Bird Library and is open to all students.

      Spring 2024 hours: Monday-Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm. You can also reserve the space in advance by emailing dss@syr.edu.

      VR/AR

      • If you purchased a VR headset such as an Oculus or Vive, but your computer's graphics card does not meet VR-ready specs, bring your own headset and use a machine for app development or to test your project.

      AI Image Generation using Stable Diffusion

      • They have one machine with an Nvidia 4080 GPU and two others with Nvidia 20x0 series GPUs.

      • Stable Diffusion and software to train the language models is installed on all their machines.
