How to use the Maya/Arnold render farm

      Feb 08, 2023

Architecture students have access to SU's SquidNet render farm, offering thousands of cores to tackle the most complex render jobs. Currently the farm can render Maya/Arnold  and Blender jobs.

      1. Contact archit@syr.edu if you are interested in having work rendered on the farm.

      2. Files must be in Maya 2023 format.

      3. Package your project using the following steps. This will leave you with a single .ma file, which is what you will provide to us.

      4. Be able to provide a link to your files by sharing via OneDrive or your SU Google Drive (or via https://wormhole.app or https://wetransfer.com).

      5. Include a note with the beginning and ending frame for each project.

      6. Your job will be run by the SquidNet admin and the results returned to you.
