Windows 11 Download Guide
Follow the steps below to download a copy of Windows 11.
Downloading Windows 11
Visit Azure Dev Tools site
Navigate to https://azureforeducation.microsoft.com/devtools/ and click the blue "Sign In" button.
Login with your SU account and sign up
Log in with your SU provided Microsoft account, using your NetID@syr.edu email and NetID password. If prompted, make sure to select your Work or School Account, and complete MFA verification.
Complete the sign up process, verifying your name, address, school and other information.
Education Hub Redirect
You will then be redirected to the Microsoft Azure Education Hub
Software Tab
Click on the "Software" tab in the sidebar to view and download available software.
Choose the Window option you are looking to download. There may be multiple versions of Windows available for download,

Free Installation for Students
Any student needing assistance with the installation of Windows 11 on their device is welcome to bring the device to the ITS Service Center during business hours. Consultants can perform any software related task, Windows 11 installation or otherwise, free of charge. Just bring your SUID card, the device, and the power adapter. Note that Windows 11, or other operating system installation, can take a significant amount of time and may require that you leave your device at the ITS Service Center for your request to be completed.
