Product Use Rights
Terms of Use: OpenAI grants Customer a non-exclusive right to access and use the Purchased Services during the Services Term. OpenAI will provision the Services to its Customer Account. Customer is responsible for all activities that occur under its Account, including provisioning each end user with an account to access the Services (an “End User Account”). End User Accounts may only be provisioned to, registered for, and used by, a single End User. Customer will not make account access credentials available to third parties, share individual login credentials between multiple users on an account, or resell or lease access to its account or any End User Account. The Services may be configured to allow Authorized Purchasers to purchase additional licenses, quantities, or volumes of Services and OpenAI will charge Customer for these additional licenses, quantities, or volumes of Services for the remainder of the then-current Services Term.
Faculty/Staff Home Use: ChatGPT is available via web browser and mobile app from anywhere.

Institutional Licenses for Faculty/Staff: ITS maintains a ChatGPT Team account available to faculty and staff. License pricing and details are available on the ITS-Managed AI Tools webpage. Departments interested in purchasing ChatGPT Team licenses are encouraged to contact their IT support personnel for more information.
