Product Use Rights
Terms of Use: Subject to the terms of the Agreement, the Software may be used by Customer's Employees and Students for teaching and research use limited to classroom instruction and coursework directly related to Customer's post-secondary degree requirements, including the formulation of theses and dissertations, and Customer's noncommercial research activities. Administrative use is not covered under this license.
Faculty/Staff Home Use: Software license fees are based on the total number of Customer’s personal computers on which the Software will be installed (“PC Installs”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, for each PC Install, Customer may make one (1) additional copy of the Software for home use by a Customer Employee or Student who also uses the Software on Customer’s premises (“Home Use”) and such Home Use copies shall not count toward the total number of PC Installs permitted pursuant to the applicable Supplement(s) provided: (i) each Home Use copy is installed on a personal computer or a laptop computer located in the United States and owned by a Customer Employee or Student; (ii) Home Use by Customer Employees and Students is limited to use of the Software as authorized under the applicable Supplement(s); (iii) the operating system of the hardware on which each Home Use copy is installed mirrors the operating system of Customer’s hardware on which the personal computer Software is installed; and (iv) the total number of Home Use copies does not exceed the total number of PC Installs permitted pursuant to the applicable Supplement(s).

Institutional Licenses For Faculty/Staff: ITS maintains a site license agreement that provides discounted licenses to SU faculty and staff. Licenses are limited to faculty and staff who purchase through the site license program. Please contact your Distributed Staff Personnel if you are interested in utilizing SAS.
