Company Portal

The Intune Company Portal is your organization's self-service hub for accessing approved applications and managing your enrolled devices. It's available as an app on your Windows device and can also be accessed through a web browser.

Installing Applications

Company Portal serves as your organization's app store. Browse the app catalog to find software you need for your work, then click Install to deploy it to your device. As installation happens you'll receive a notifications throughout the progression. If an app you need isn't listed, it may first require you complete an access package.

Checking Device Compliance

Your device must meet certain security requirements to access company resources like email and files. Company Portal shows your device's compliance status and explains specifically what requirements aren't being met if there's an issue. Common compliance requirements include having an up-to-date operating system, enabled encryption, and active antivirus protection. If your device falls out of compliance, you may lose access to company resources until the issues are resolved.

Self-Remediation Tools

Before contacting IT support, Company Portal offers several tools to resolve common issues yourself. The Sync Device option forces your device to check in with your organization's management server, which can resolve issues where new apps or policies haven't appeared yet. This is often the first troubleshooting step when something isn't working as expected. If compliance issues are detected, Company Portal will guide you through the steps needed to bring your device back into compliance, whether that's installing updates, enabling a security feature, or updating a setting.

Accessing Company Portal

1. Click the Start button on your computer.

2. Type Company Portal in the search bar.

3. Once launched, navigate to Apps

   Open

   

4. Here you can browse available apps, filter by categories or use the search bar to filter

5. Open your app of choice, choose Install

   Open

   

6. Your selected app will begin to install.  Follow notifications to monitor the installation process.
