Disable Internet Connection Sharing in Windows 10 and 11
Step 1: Open the Control Panel
Hold down the Windows key (
) and press "R", then type "control panel" or "control" (minutes the quotations).Step 2: Locate Your Network Connections
In Control Panel click "Network and Sharing Center".
Now in "Network and Sharing Center" select "Change Adapter Settings". This will take you to your "Network Connection".
Step 3: Open the Properties of Your Wi-Fi Adapter
Right click the adapter that is connected (or going to be connected) to AirOrangeX and select "Properties".
Step 3: Disable Connection Sharing
In the adapter's Wi-Fi Properties select the "Sharing" tab.
Be sure that the check box indicated is NOT check and press "OK".
You have now disabled internet connection sharing in Windows 10 or 11.
