    Product Use Rights

    Terms of Use:  Anthropic provides software that allows submission of text, documents, or other materials, and receipt of AI-generated results, ("AI Services") via various interfaces including an API (application programming interface) and web portals provided by Anthropic ("Anthropic Interfaces"). Upon prompt payment of all applicable fees related to use of the Anthropic Offerings ("Fees"), including fees associated with the use of AI Services using your Credentials, Customer and its Users may access and use the Services, only in compliance with the Anthropic Usage Policy, to make submissions to the Services (“Prompts”) and generate responses to its Prompts (“Outputs” and, together with Prompts, “Customer Content”). Customer is responsible for securing its unique access credentials for accessing the Anthropic Offerings (“Credentials”) and may not share Account credentials with anyone else.

    Faculty/Staff Home Use: Claude is available via web browser and mobile app from anywhere.

    Institutional Licenses for Faculty/Staff: ITS maintains a Claude Enterprise license available to all active Syracuse University faculty, staff and students. SU faculty and staff may submit a Claude Enterprise access request via the Microsoft Access Package Portal or visit https://its.syr.edu/getclaude to get started. Additional details are also available on the ITS-Managed AI Tools webpage.

    Student Licenses: SU students may submit a Claude Enterprise access request via the Microsoft Access Package Portal or visit https://its.syr.edu/getclaude to get started.
