Copying OneDrive Files into Blackboard
To import a copy of a file (such as a .docx of the course syllabus, or a .pptx of the week’s lecture slides) from OneDrive into Blackboard, follow these steps:
Go to the Blackboard course content area, scroll to the location where you want the file to appear, and click the icon near the left side of the screen.
Select “Cloud Storage” from the popup menu.
Select OneDrive from the list of cloud storage services
Login using your SU NetID and password (the same username and password you use to access Blackboard).
Select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to copy. When you have checked all the desired files, click the “Select [#]” button in the lower left, then click “Import” to confirm your choices and begin importing copies of your chosen file(s) into Blackboard.
You can also attach files from OneDrive within the text of a Blackboard document, assignment, discussion, etc. To do so, open the Blackboard item, select “edit content” to open the text editor, and then select → Cloud Storage and follow the steps above to search your OneDrive files and attach copies to the Blackboard item.
