Updated Jul 10, 2024

Blackboard Activity Stream and Notification Settings

    Activity Stream and Notification Settings

Customize the notification settings under your Blackboard user profile to get alerts for different kinds of activity in Blackboard such as upcoming deadlines or grades being posted.

    Activity Stream

The activity stream shows all Blackboard system notifications from all courses that you are enrolled in. You can filter the notifications by "show all", "assignments and tests", or by "grades and feedback" with the dropdown menu in the upper right. The settings icon

to the right of the dropdown menu has options for notification settings. Important items like past due assignments will show up under "Important". Upcoming items will be under "Upcoming". Lowest on the page will be "Today" which will show any items that are due on the current day.
