VMware Workstation and Fusion

VMware Workstation and Fusion

What is VMware?

VMware Workstation (Windows/Linux) and VMware Fusion (Mac) allow you to run multiple operating systems on your computer at the same time. This is useful for:

  • Testing software on different operating systems

  • Running Windows on a Mac (or vice versa)

  • Network and security labs

  • Software development

  • Course projects requiring specific OS environments

Good News: VMware Workstation Pro and Fusion Pro are now completely free for personal use, including for students!
