Configuring OneDrive on SU Managed Mac
Information on OneDrive at Syracuse University can be found here.
To install on a personal Mac, go to https://portal.office.com and install OneDrive from there.
The simplest way to configure OneDrive is by running Enable OneDrive Experience from the Self Service application located on your Dock or in the Applications folder.
Open Self Service from your Dock. If the icon isn't shown on your Dock, please find it by opening Finder > Macintosh HD > Applications and clicking on Syracuse University - Self Service
Sign in to Self Service with NetID and Password. Click the Remember Me button.
3. Find Enable OneDrive Experience under Browse > Featured menu on the left side and click Install
4. This box will display
5. Once the background processes are completed, you'll see the window below popup in front.
6. Your email address should be shown in the Account Name box automatically. Click Sign In.
7. You will be prompted for 2-factor if Register with Azure has not been run yet from Self Service for individual computers. Enter your Net ID password, click on "Sign in" and run through the 2-factor prompts.
8. Once the setup is complete, this window will show. Feel free to close it.
9. Once the sync begins of your Documents folder and Desktop folder, a Finder window will open so you can view the progress. Feel free to close the Finder window. When all files are synced, the OneDrive icon on your menu bar will return to a cloud with no refresh arrows showing.
