How to embed a Kaltura video in Blackboard

Note: the steps below assume your video has already been uploaded to your Kaltura account at https://video.syr.edu.
Zoom recordings automatically appear in Kaltura after the meeting ends (may take up to an hour).

  1. In the course under the Content tab, on the right side click ‘View course & institution tools’ under Details & Actions.

  2. Under the Book & Course Tools panel, scroll to the bottom and click ‘Browse all course tools’.

  3. Scroll down and click on ‘Kaltura Media’.

  4. Click ‘Add from Library’.

  5. Find the video you want and click ‘Embed’. It should then appear under the Course Content.
    (If you don’t see your Zoom video, it can take an hour or so after the Zoom call ends for it to appear in Kaltura.)
