      Tascam MP3 Recorder

      Several Tascam DR-40 recorders are available from the Architecture IT office and the NYC Program Coordinator.

      To use the internal mics (silver knobs)

      • On the left side, set the EXT IN slider to the middle position 'MIC'.




        Also press the REC MODE button on the front and set source to INT MIC ST


      To Record

      • Press the Record button once and it will flash red. Press a second time and to start recording--it will be steady red. The counter will increase while recording.


      To Delete Recordings

      • To quickly delete the current file, press the Quick button.

      • Choose Delete using the Enter/Mark button.
