      Embedding Orange Tracker Requests and Forms on Answers

      As Answers is highly integrated with Orange Tracker, you have the ability to embed Orange Tracker (JSM) Customer Request Types (CRT) and Forms (direct submission) on an Answers page or as a Smart Link.

      Embedding as Smart Link (standalone)

      Both Requests and Forms can be added as a Smart Link within Answers, use the link to the Request form as the link.

      Embedding Customer Request Type (CRT)

      To embed an Orange Tracker Request Form, simply paste the link to the Customer Request Type and select the “Embed” view.

      Embedding Jira Form

      Only visible to licensed Orange Tracker agents.

      Jira Forms are more freeform content than CRTs, but allow more flexibility in what can be included. To embed a Jira Form, first ensure that the Create a shareable link is enabled on the Jira Form, then associate it with a CRT.

      Do NOT use the URL from this step where it says “Copy link”. That is a generic link that will not embed and is used only to get to the URL where the Jira Form exists.

      After the above has been completed, select Copy link and paste into a new browser tab. If unable to copy, go to: https://su-jsm.atlassian.net/jira/forms/create

      On this page, select the appropriate filters (Project → Request Type → Form) to find your form. Once you have found your form, select Copy link (next to “Creates issues using embedded forms by pasting this link on any Atlassian site”) and paste onto your Answers page.
