If you come to Whitman, you’re probably considering what computer to purchase. We’re hoping we can simplify your search for a laptop, so we’d like to provide some specific recommendations for you. Whitman has partnered with Lenovo to make a great set of laptops available to our students for a great price.
Students should utilize the Lenovo portal to make purchasing and obtaining a device a simple one-stop. The portal has the option of 4 different devices in size and pricing. You also have the opportunity to add any additional accessories with your purchase using our discount.
Below are the available devices. You can purchase the laptop/accessories and get them shipped directly to you by going to our Lenovo Portal.
Laptop Order Deadline for Home Delivery – July 15th
Please be advised that the final day to place a laptop order for delivery to your home address is July 15th. This deadline accounts for the 2–3 week shipping timeframe required by Lenovo, as the devices are custom-built to order.
If you plan to place an order after July 15th, you will need to have the device shipped either to your campus residence (dorm) or directly to our office. If you choose to have the laptop shipped to our office, please notify us in advance by sending an email to wsmhelp@syr.edu.
