VPA adheres to the University’s Online Teaching Policy, which was recently revised to clarify the dean’s authority to approve or deny requests to teach online and the circumstances under which online teaching may be approved. In addition, the College has added the following language to clarify the timeline for approval:

Each online course offered by the College must first be discussed with the academic unit leadership at least one year in advance and then approved by the dean at least six months prior to its delivery.
