    Using RDP with Multiple Displays

    • 1 From Remote Desktop on Windows:
    • 2 From RDP Packet on RLab:

    From Remote Desktop on Windows:

    1.) In the Windows search menu, type "Remote Desktop Connection" & select the application

    2.) On the bottom left of the application window, click the dropdown arrow (Show Options) in order to populate additional fields

    3.) Click "Display", and under "Display Configuration", make sure that "Use all my monitors for the remote session" is unchecked 

    4.) Click "Connect"



    From RDP Packet on RLab:

    1.) Download RLab Windows Connection File

    2.) Once downloaded, locate the saved file, right click on the .rdp packet and select "edit"

    3.) From there the Remote Desktop Connection application will open. Click the dropdown arrow (Show Options) in order to populate additional fields

    4.) Under "Display" make sure that "Use all my monitors for the remote session" is unchecked

    5.) Click "Connect"
