      The Blackboard Learning Management System is a course management system that makes the creation, organization, and management of course content on the web relatively simple.  Blackboard can be accessed through a web browser from any computer with Internet access.

      Ultra Course View

      January 2024: Thank you to everyone who attended the recent training session for the new Blackboard Ultra Course View (UCV). All courses are transitioning to UCV in Fall 2024. UCV provides a more modern and easy-to-use interface for Blackboard.

      Ultra Sandbox

      Ultra Sandbox is available to get some practice with Ultra Course View. It provides a private, blank course shell in the Ultra course view.

      You can use Ultra Sandbox to explore and get comfortable with the new interface, and to import, edit, and export materials to and from any of your other Blackboard courses. 

      We highly recommend using your sandbox to

      1. Copy modules, folders, and other content from your original view courses.

      2. Update your content as necessary to work smoothly in Ultra view.

      3. And then copy updated items into your live courses after they have been tested and are ready to deploy in Ultra.
