    Canon T6i Camera - Live tether to computer

    The school’s Canon DSLR T6i cameras can be tethered to a computer using a USB interface cable. You can live do live remote shooting or image transfer using the computer.

    Steps

    1. If not present, install the Canon EOS Utility software (Windows link).

    2. On the camera, go into Menu > first wrench icon tab.

      1. Change Wi-Fi/NFC to Disable.

    3. Connect the USB interface cable from the camera to computer.

    4. Start the EOS Utility software; it should see the camera.
