Outlook Scheduling Poll / Find Time (Doodle alternative)
Microsoft Outlook includes a built-in scheduling poll tool (Outlook Scheduling Poll), similar to platforms like Doodle and When2meet. Steps to access the tool in Outlook New and Outlook Classic are below.
Outlook New
Start a new event in Outlook New.
Look for the small Scheduling poll icon on the Date/Time line. Note the icon will be grayed out until you enter a person.
Add dates/times and any notes. If you want to hide the attendee list or add optional attendees, click the small people/gear icon.
Outlook Classic
Start a new meeting in Outlook Classic.
Look on the ribbon toolbar for ‘New Scheduling Poll / Find Time'.
A side panel should open. It won’t show any content until you add a few people to the Required or Optional lines in the new meeting.
Select proposed dates and times, then click Next. Enter any additional info such as Location and Poll settings, then click the Create poll button.
View your scheduling poll dashboard at any time by clicking ‘View all your polls’ at the top of the Scheduling Poll panel.
