Embedding Office 365 Documents
Important
Embedded files require the file(s) sharing permissions to be set on the file. Additional information on file sharing permissions or organizational sharing permissions to view the embedded document see below.
Obtaining the Embed Code
Locate the file you want to embed and open it in the browser. Avenues to opening in the browser include OneDrive and SharePoint.
Once the file has been open. Click on the File tab in the upper left-hand corner.

Click on Share located on the left-hand menu.

Click on Embed. A pop-up will emerge.

The pop-up will contain a preview of the embedded document along with the embed code. You can change the dimensions of the embedded document by changing the dimension parameters on the right-hand side the pop-up as well as within the code where width and height are mentioned. Copy the code to embed it in another location.

Embedding on Answers
Locate the Answers page you want to embed the Office 365 document(s) on.
Click on Edit at the top of the page.

Locate where on the Answers page you want to have the document(s) located and place your cursor there.
Click on the plus sign on right-hand side of the edit ribbon on the top of the page. A drop-down menu will emerge.

Select Other macros at the bottom of the menu. A pop-up will emerge.

Search for HTML, select it, and press Insert.

Press Save at the bottom of the page.

Embedding on Blackboard
In any Blackboard editor, click the HTML button pictured below.

Paste the embed code and select Update
Tweak the width and height parameters in the embed code the size needs to be changed.
