What should I consider before ordering promotional items for my department?
Before placing an order, explore available options at the Syracuse University campus store to see if relevant items are already in stock. All promotional products must display the University's brand-approved lock-up to maintain brand consistency. For items with limited space or unique applications contact trademarklicensing@syr.edu to request approval for a merchandise mark.
Who can produce promotional items with Syracuse University marks?
All promotional items and products bearing the University's name, logo, seal, mascot, slogans, or other trademarks—whether for commercial, promotional, or internal use—may only be purchased from suppliers that have a valid trademark license agreement with the University (or its licensing agent).
The University's Office of Trademark Licensing must approve all orders and artwork for products bearing any University marks. Purchases made with University funds from unlicensed suppliers may be considered an unallowable expense under University purchasing policy.

How do I find and select vendors for promotional items?
Start by comparing prices from multiple licensees listed on our internal campus suppliers list. This list includes approved vendors along with their specific product offerings and services. Price comparison helps ensure you're getting the best value while maintaining University brand standards.
What's the process for placing an order with an approved vendor?
After selecting a vendor, request a quote or estimate for your desired items. Once you've decided to move forward, your department will need to submit a purchase order to formalize the commitment. How do I order through Dupli?
Dupli offers an expanded product line, including Good Life products, through its online storefront in the eProcurement system. If you have eProcurement access, simply click the "eProcurement" tile on MySlice and select from the internal Dupli catalog. If you don't have eProcurement access, you can browse products at the "Order My Gear" storefront: Syracuse University (SU) | Dupli Online | Achieve More.
What are the benefits of ordering through Dupli?
The University's purchasing department has partnered with Dupli to streamline the ordering process. Orders placed through Dupli typically have faster processing and delivery timelines compared to e-commerce suppliers, making it easier and more efficient for departments to obtain promotional items.
