Campus Technology Upgrades
Learning Environments and Media Production (LEMP) supports technology upgrades for spaces at Syracuse University. LEMP is the university's in-house audiovisual and learning environment team. We design, install, and support technology in classrooms, conference rooms, and collaborative spaces across campus. Every solution we deliver is built around University standards, ensuring a consistent and reliable experience for faculty and students. This includes main and south campus along with other University centers. LEMP has standard technology packages available and can provide consultation support for technology upgrades. After installation, LEMP remains your point of contact for support.
General Technology Packages
Important notes for all packages: Pricing does not include facilities or networking work. LEMP will provide a complete scope and coordinate that work on your behalf. A PC is not included in any package and must be supplied by your department; LEMP is available to assist with PC specifications. LEMP also partners with departments on custom technology installations beyond these standard packages. Please reach out to inquire about your specific project needs.
Digital Signage Package
A commercial-grade display wall-mounted with all necessary hardware. LEMP provides the display, mount, and installation scope. Note, your department supplies the PC for signage software. Package typically includes:

Single Display Classroom Teaching Station Package
A complete, video-conferencing-capable classroom solution built around a single display, teaching station, and AV rack. Designed for instruction, hybrid learning, and room-wide audio. Package typically includes:
86" wall-mounted display (can be modified)
Teaching station with AV rack and system infrastructure
Cable cubby with HDMI and USB-C laptop inputs at teaching station
Document camera and Blu-Ray player
Interactive Wacom monitor and extended display on Ergotron arms
50" confidence monitor (can be modified)
Front and rear PTZ cameras for video capture and videoconferencing
Ceiling microphones
Wireless lavalier mic (Additional microphones available for larger spaces)
Sound reinforcement PA and playback audio
Extron touch panel for source control
Apple TV available upon request

Dual Display Classroom Teaching Station Packages
Everything in the Single Display package, expanded with a second display. Both screens can show independent sources simultaneously. Ideal for larger classrooms requiring split-view instruction.

Conference Rooms & Other Technology
Conference room needs vary widely depending on room size, how the space is used, and the collaboration tools your team relies on day to day. LEMP works closely with departments to evaluate the space and recommend the right technology solution. Contact us to start the conversation about upgrading your conference room.

Request a LEMP Technology Upgrade
Completing the LEMP Technology Upgrade Request Form is not a guarantee of service. LEMP will respond within 48 business hours. LEMP will typically set up an in-person site survey to review your technology needs and space. Requests are handled on a first come, first served basis.
