    Using MacOS Privileges

    This feature is not enabled by default. Admin access is provided on a case-by-case basis where user requirements are not meant by the standard device configuration. Please contact ischoolit@ot.syr.edu to request access.

    1. Open the “Self-Service” application on your Mac and login with SU Netid credentials

    1. Search for “Privileges” or go to the “Security” category and locate “macOS Enterprise Privileges” and click “Install”

    1. Launch the application and click “Request privileges”

    1. You will see a popup indicating the permission change was successful, and the Privileges icon will change color. You now have temporary admin rights and may proceed with your task.
