How to enable the camera and mic in Windows

If Microsoft Teams or another program can't find your mic or web cam, check the following settings.

  • Click Start

    > SettingsĀ 




  • Under Windows Settings, click Privacy



  • On the left under App Permissions, click Camera. Under 'Allow apps to access your camera', make sure it's set to On.



  • Also on the left under Microphone, set 'Allow apps to access your microphone' to On.
