HR Orange Access Roles

HR Orange Access Roles

OrangeAccess (OA) is Syracuse University’s identity and access management system. It replaces the legacy FAST application and provides a modern way to request, approve, and review access to University systems.

OrangeAccess is replacing FAST. Beginning October 28, 2025, all requests for MySlice, Campus Solutions, HR/Payroll, and Financials must be submitted through OA.

For detailed guidance on how to use OrangeAccess, visit the ITS Getting Started with OrangeAccess page or or contact the OA support team at oahelp@su-jsm.atlassian.net.

HR Access Roles in OrangeAccess

The following table outlines HR specific access roles within OrangeAccess and is designed to help requestors determine which HR access they should request.

Important: When submitting an HR access request, please include the relevant department number(s) in the Comments section.

Department numbers are required for nearly all HR access roles and help ensure appropriate security alignment.
