MAX Facts

The MaxFacts Committee offers information and skill sharing opportunities for staff. MaxFacts sessions cover an array of topics and includes skill and information sharing between Maxwell staff as well as from staff outside of Maxwell, who will present job tips and tricks from within their area of expertise.

MAX Pro

Maxwell Holiday Exchange

The Maxwell Holiday Exchange committee convenes once a year as a fundraising opportunity for local non-profit organizations. The Holiday Exchange typically occurs during the first two weeks of December with planning meetings occurring during the fall semester.

StAR Committee 

The Maxwell Staff Appreciation and Recognition (StAR) Committee was formed to create a mechanism for recognizing the achievements of the Maxwell Staff. There are several categories that the Maxwell community can nominate in, as well as a rolling admission process for one award that is recognized several times throughout the year. Each summer before the semester begins there is a ceremony to recognize all the awardees. Click here for the nomination forms.

Ad Hoc Committees 

For staff interested in developing an Ad Hoc Committee, focused on something that is not covered by an existing Standing Committee, please reach out to current MSC members with your idea! Past Ad Hoc Committees have included: Staff as Students, Maxwell Volunteers, and Health & Wellness. Please refer to the MSC Bylaws to learn more about Ad Hoc Committees.
