Purchase Additional Claude Usage Tokens

Overview

Students, Faculty, & Staff members of the Syracuse University community are provided standard seats/licenses for Claude Enterprise, which is roughly equivalent to a Claude Pro license. Other affiliations of members may gain access to Claude by request to aihelp@syr.edu or by purchasing a Premium seat.

Faculty and Staff Information

Faculty and Staff that wish to have access to additional usage tokens, the recommended path is to have their department purchase a Premium Seat license that includes additional usage capabilities. If the usage limits are still being hit after purchasing a Premium Seat extended usage quota can be setup and the usage is charged at the API rates for the model being used. The department’s chart string will be charged monthly for any extra usage.

Premium Seat

If you wish to have a Claude Premium seat and have approval from your department to fund it, navigate to the Access Package to request the premium seat. Following approval, the cost is pro-rated and billed to the department based on our contract with Anthropic.

If you are encountering problems with rate limits, you may wish to have a premium seat purchased instead of buying credits, as it will increase those limits.

Student Information

Students that are looking for additional usage beyond the standard seat license can purchase API access. Purchase Anthropic API Access
