Connect Claude to M365

Overview

Claude can be connected to Microsoft 365 via the connector. This will allow your Claude instance to reference materials and gain context based on resources you may have in Microsoft 365.

The Claude Microsoft 365 connector will allow Claude to access Microsoft Teams messages, Outlook emails, Sharepoint and OneDrive documents, and more. (if you grant this access when configuring)

Process

Follow the steps below to connect Microsoft 365 to Claude

  1. Log into Claude under your Syracuse University account (netid@syr.edu)

  2. Click your profile in the bottom left and select Settings

  3. From here, press “Connectors” and next to the Microsoft 365 option press “Connect”

  4. Sign in, or select, your Syracuse University Microsoft account (netid@syr.edu)

  5. You should be redirected back to Claude and have Microsoft 365 connected.

  6. Feel free to press “Configure” next to the connector and change any options you desire or leave it configured as-is.
