Office Available to SU Students at No Cost
SU is participating in the Microsoft Student Advantage program. Through the program, current SU students (undergraduate, graduate, and part-time) can download and install Office desktop applications on up to five devices (PC, Mac, and mobile devices). Office applications installed through the Student Advantage program have a four year subscription. After four years, the subscription will expire. Current students can renew the subscription one time.
You can download Office 365 ProPlus and manage your subscriptions using your SUmail student email account. Staff and faculty who are taking classes at SU are not eligible to participate at this time.
What Applications are Available in Office 365 ProPlus?
Office 365 ProPlus includes:
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Outlook
- OneNote
- Access
- Publisher
Where Can I Install Office 365 ProPlus?
You can install Office 365 ProPlus on up to five devices. You can manage the licenses you have installed for Office 365 ProPlus using your SUmail account.

What if I am No Longer a Current Student?
The Microsoft Student Advantage Program is for current students of participating Universities. If you are no longer eligible for the program, there are consumer or commercial Office 365 plans available.
Note that Microsoft may verify eligibility for the Student Advantage Program at any time.
