Solution

Instructions

  1. If this is the first e-mail account on your Android, open the application drawer and select Settings > Account & Sync on the bottom touch Add Account
  2. Tap Corporate
  3. Tap in the Email Address box and enter your full e-mail address (for example, Netid@syr.edu).
  4. Tap in the Password box and enter your password.
  5. Tap Next on the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
  6. In the Domain/Username enter your full Email Address making sure you remove the "\" eg;netid@syr.edu
  7. You might need to select "Manual Setup" to perform the next instructions.
  8. Some phones may ask you to enter a "Domain" or "Domain in Network". Please enter "ad" for this field.
  9. In the Password box leave what is there.
  10. Tap in the Exchange Server box and enter m.outlook.com
  11. Leave "Use Secure Connection" (SSL) checked
  12. Do not check "Accept All SSL Certificates".
  13. If the keyboard is present press "Done".
  14. Tap Next
  15. Choose how and what type of information you want to synchronize in the Account Options page.
  16. Tap Next
  17. Enter an account name like "SUmail" or "My E-mails".
  18. Enter an outgoing message display name.
  19. Tap "Done"..
