Microsoft Authenticator is the preferred method to use. But , but you do have the option to have a code sent to your mobile device via text instead. If you prefer to use text messages, select the “I want to set up a different method” link on this page.
Although Microsoft Authenticator is the preferred authentication application, you also have the option to use a different authenticator app. If you already have a preferred authenticator app, you can set it up by using the “I want to use a different authenticator app” link on the screen. Note that if you have trouble logging into MySlice with that authenticator application, you may need to switch to Microsoft Authenticator, which has been tested and verified to work with MySlice.

Go back to the “Setup Your Account” page from your invitation process and select Next.
A page with a QR code will now appear. Hold your mobile device camera to enclose the QR code in the provided box. If you are unable to scan the image, use the “can’t scan image” to get a “secret key” that you can enter in manually in the Authenticator application using the “enter manually” link on the QR scanning page in the application. When done, select “Next”
