As a result of campus closure, student access to Adobe Creative Cloud in labs and classrooms is not available. Adobe has provided temporary at-home access for impacted students and faculty, so that they can continue their work remotely. Please follow the instructions below to enable access to Creative Cloud Desktop Apps on your personal deviceThe instructions below are for staff and faculty that have been provided access to use Creative Cloud Desktop Apps on their personal device.

Note that all active students, along with staff and faculty without assigned licenses, can Adobe Creative Cloud on campus labs or via Syracuse University Remote Access. Adobe licensing does not currently provide use on person devices for all students*.

Student home use licensing is provided by Adobe temporarily. Adobe Creative Suite will be available until approximately July 6, 2020 at which time the installed applications will return to an unlicensed/trial state.

Students who elected to upload information to Adobe Cloud will return to their 2gb cloud storage restriction after the temporary license period ends. Any assets created in the Aodbe Cloud during the temporary licensing will be accessible by student after license removal, but subject to the restrictions based on their storage entitlement of 2gb.

Newhouse has provided their graduate students with personal device licenses. Newhouse graduate students will need to download and install the Adobe Desktop App and then login to Adobe Cloud using their SU email and SU password. To do so, following the Adobe creative cloud download instructions.

Install Adobe Software

  1. Visit https://creativecloud.adobe.com and use your school credentials to sign in.


  2. If prompted, select Company or School Account and then enter your password. Or provide your credentials in your school’s login screen.




  3. From the Creative Cloud website, browse for and download your desired app. Click Apps on the top of the page to view all apps.
