1. Navigate to your apps.
2. Open up the Accounts app.

5. Type in your email and password, be sure to uncheck 'Automatically configure account'

6. You will be brought to this page. We must now configure the incoming and outgoing servers.
   Image RemovedSelect 'Incoming Server'Insert your sumail into email address and domain, password remains to be your sumail password and exchange server should be m.outlook.com or pod51000.outlook.com. Then click connect/ok.

7. If the following does not work, then manually set it up by going to the original screen that indicates POP, IMAP or Active Sync. Then click IMAP.
   • Change the server type to 'IMAP mail server'
   • Server: use the values you noted from "IMAP Setting" in the "First Steps" section above (may vary from picture below).
   • Username: NetID@syr.edu
   • Password: your password

8. Hit Ok, then select 'Outgoing Server'
   • Outgoing Server: uuse the values you noted from "SMTP Setting" in the "First Steps" section above (may vary from picture below).
   • Username: NetID@syr.edu
   • Password: your password

9. Hit Ok and then Ok again. Your mail account should now be set up.
