Syracuse's implementation of Zoom does not enable all breakout room functionality by default. This must be adjusted in the Zoom settings for your own account, as follows:
- Sign into the SU Zoom web portal -- https://syracuseuniversity.zoom.us
- In the left-hand navigation menu, select 'Settings'.
- In the 'Settings' navigation menu, click on 'In Meeting (Advanced)'.
- Enable the 'Breakout room' option, as well as allowing the meeting hose to pre-assign rooms (if desired).
