ExamSoft login and Examplify authentication issues

Some users are experiencing the following login issues:

attempts to log in at https://examsoft.com/syracuselaw are met with a redirect to the main ExamSoft page instead of a Syracuse University login screen
attempts to authenticate the Examplify app stall on the authentication launch screen

These issues can be fixed by clearing your browser cache. Please be sure that Chrome or Firefox is set as your default browser, then clear your browser cache (instructions here) and attempt the login/authentication again.

Additionally, you should see and use the Login button to initiate authentication. If instead you are presented with a request for StudentID and Password, click the "Federated Login" link to revert to return to the Login button:

Taking Exams

Midterm and final exams administered at the College of Law use Examplify testing software. Proctored exams administered remotely use Examsoft's inbuilt proctoring tools. Information for each scenario can be found below.

Mock Exams

You may download and take a Mock Exam in the same manner as you will take your actual exam. Please see the Getting Started guide below for installing on installing the software and downloading your exam. The password for the Mock Exam is "Abc123" without quotes.

Computer Requirements

All students are required to maintain a computer which is compatible with Examplify. As of October 2025, Windows 10 and macOS 13 (Ventura) are no longer supported.
