    Deleting Printers from Windows computers

    Dec 19, 2023

To ensure you're connecting to the newly configured print server (AS-PRQ) we'd like you to delete your existing printers that point to the old print server (AS-PRQ-01)

    1. Click the search next to the Start menu and type Print.  Choose

            2. Find ANY printer that has AS-PRQ-01 at the beginning of the name and click on it and click Remove Device. Hint: You can delete all the AS printers if you'd prefer and are unsure which is on the old or new server.

Once your printers are removed you can follow instructions to add printers from the new print server, AS-PRQ.

If you have any questions or problems, please email consult@cas.syr.edu.
