  • Deb Witter - lost Orange Success access after v2.0 rolled out. Solution: user requests access to the OrangeSuccess role: Student Success Units (Student Success / ORANGESUCCESS_STDNTSCCS) (6.3.26)

Steps for user to make a request

This uses an example with Stephanie.

  1. Go to https://orangeaccess.syr.edu and sign in.

  2. Click Request Center > Request for Others

  3. In the Select Identities box, enter the netid of who you want to request for and then click ‘Request for These Identities’.

  4. On the left click Roles, then in the search box enter what you are requesting, such as ‘Payment Request Entry and Approval’ or maybe just ‘Payment Request’.

  5. Hopefully you will see the role appear. For me, it did not appear which is why I assumed only you had access to do it. I’m not sure if there are granular sub-entries within the role but from talking with Nancy, she would need access to the Payment Request Center under Payment Request, and Review Supplies under the Supplier category.
