How to Reserve a Room

Spaces in Huntington Hall can be reserved by members of the School of Education community for University-related work and business. Choose a space or space type to view capacity, details, and availability.

To check room availability

  • Use the sign outside of the room you’re interested in, or the links on this page to locate the Availability Calendar for each room. If you refer to them often, you could add them as Room calendars to your Outlook client to view them there.

  • You can view individual room availability while creating an Outlook event/meeting by adding it as a Location in the Scheduling Assistant.

To reserve a room/space

  • Start creating your event/appointment in Outlook

  • In the “Add Room or Location” field, enter the room name if you know it or search for the rom you are interested in. All reservable spaces in Huntington Hall and the Social Work area in Falk start with “SOE.”

  • Set up the rest of your event as you would normally including title, time/date, attendees, description, etc.

  • Depending on the space, your reservation will either be automatically accepted/declined based on availability, or reviewed by staff and then accepted/declined. You will receive notice of this acceptance or decline. Once accepted, it will appear both on your calendar and the room’s calendar.
