How can I get credit for an internship through a 270 course?

  1. If your internship is off campus you should enroll in CAS 270. The internship can be paid or unpaid.

  2. If your internship is on campus AND you are paid, you should also enroll in CAS 270. Paid on-campus internships are allowed.

  3. If you’re in either of the categories above, get in touch with your A&S|Maxwell advisor for information about how to sign up for CAS 270.

  4. If your internship is on campus AND unpaid, you won’t be able to take CAS 270. Instead, you should find a faculty member in your home department who will sponsor you under that department’s 270, such as PSC 270 or HST 270. Every department can offer a 270 course. The form used to sign up for a 270 course is available here.
