Instructions

  1. Click on the “New Mentor” button in your dashboard

mentorAI home screen, highlighting the 'New Mentor' option on the left side of the screen. Under 'Mentors' and above 'New Project.'
  1. Input Mentor Information

    1. Name

      • Enter the Mentor's Name: Fill in the name of the mentor you want to create.

      • Purpose: This will be the primary identifier for mentees looking to connect.

    2. Description

      • Write a Brief Bio: Provide a short description of the mentor’s background, skills, and what they can offer to mentees.

      • Focus: Include key experiences and the type of mentorship they provide (e.g., career advice, skill development).

    3. Category

      • Select a Category: Choose the appropriate category for the mentor based on their expertise (e.g., Astronomy, Art, Anthropology).

      • Importance: This helps mentees find mentors relevant to their interests.

    4. Mentor Visibility

      • Choose Visibility Settings: Decide whether the mentor will be visible to all students, select groups, or kept private.

      • Consideration: Think about how accessible you want the mentor to be for potential mentees.

    5. Image

      • Upload a Profile Picture: If applicable, upload a professional image of the mentor.
