Atlassian Rovo Search is an AI-powered enterprise search tool that helps users quickly find and access information across all their connected applications and knowledge sources from a single, centralized interface. It doesn’t just search within one tool — Rovo Search can pull results from Atlassian products like Confluence and Jira Service Management as well as connected third-party apps such as Google Drive, Slack, and SharePoint, respecting your individual permissions so you only see content you’re allowed to access. It also offers user-friendly features like smart filters, people and definition cards, bookmarks, and contextual “smart answers” when AI is enabled, helping teams locate relevant knowledge without switching between multiple systems.

Beyond simple keyword lookup, Rovo Search uses natural language understanding to interpret intent — so you can type questions in everyday language and get summarized answers with links to source content and suggested follow-up actions via Rovo Chat. This search experience makes it easier for people to rediscover recent work, get up to speed on unfamiliar topics, and connect scattered knowledge across disparate systems, ultimately helping teams reduce context switching and surface insights faster.

Accessing Rovo Search

The search bar at the top of Answers is now using Atlassian Rovo, simply use the search in the navigation bar.

Alternatively:

  1. Navigate to Orange Tracker or Answers and login

  2. From the top navigation bar, select the product switcher (four boxes/waffle icon)

  3. Locate and select Search
