      • 3 Side Bar Navigation

      Login For Additional Content

Logging in may provide additional content, including your Orange Tracker requests and other Answers content that may have been restricted to you. See the following page for information on logging into Answers: Logging Into Answers

      Quick Search

The quick search bar can be found in the top bar navigation to the far right across all areas and spaces in Answers. When you first select the search bar, it presents your most recently viewed content and spaces. Type in keywords to search for various topics and content types, including pages, files, spaces, and much more.

      Advanced Search

The search also provides the ability to perform advanced queries, allowing filtering on content creator, the space the content exists in, when the content was updated, and more. To use the advanced search, select Advanced Search from the bottom of the search dialogue, or simply use the Return key with the search dialogue open.

      Top Bar Navigation

As of the cloud migration, the top bar navigation no longer shows spaces by category. Although it provided simple navigation for those select spaces in those lists, it excluded navigation to the majority of spaces. Your User Home provides the ability to list your starred (favorited) spaces for easy access to all spaces you select.

The top navigation bar is available is consistent anywhere within the site, no matter which space or area you are currently in. It includes links to your User Home, your Recent content, and the Space directory.

      User Home

The User Home is your personalized dashboard tailored to your activities within Answers. Your User Home contains sections for your recent activities such as viewing and editing content, your starred (favorited) spaces, and an activity feed for content pertaining to you.

      Recents

The Recents dropdown lists the pages and content you recently viewed or worked on.

      Spaces

The Spaces dropdown displays the space you’re currently in, as well as a brief list of the spaces you recently viewed or worked within. It also contains a link to the space directory, which takes you to a list of all spaces in Answers that you have the permissions to view.

      Side Bar Navigation

The side bar navigation is dynamic and will update depending on which space you are currently in. The side bar navigation allows for navigation within the space, providing space links, space shortcuts, and the collapsable/expandable page tree for the space.

      Page Quick Summary

When hovering over a page in the page tree in the sidebar, Answers will now show a quick summary of the page in a pop-up dialogue. From this dialogue, you can also edit the page (if you have the appropriate permissions) or save it.
