Payroll  is the department responsible for the following:

  • Providing assistance to all employees of the University as it relates to their specific payroll questions

  • Issuance of checks and direct deposit advice to employees paid on a weekly or semimonthly basis

  • Processing of authorized salary and other compensation payments to employees

  • Appropriate withholding and remittance of taxes and deductions from salary and other compensation payments

  • Providing guidance to department administrators as it relates to specific payroll needs
